Built by Foundry, Inc., formerly known as Playpen Games, Inc. ("BBF," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the Taiyaar mobile application ("App") for Tavi Gandhi. 2.1 Account and Authentication Information
When you create an account or sign in, we collect the information needed to authenticate you and operate account-backed features, such as your account identifier, email address, sign-in provider, authentication metadata, and any profile details you provide or authorize through Apple or Google.2.2 Onboarding Preferences You Choose
When you first open Taiyaar, you tell the App a few things so the swipe feed is useful: the occasion you're shopping for (wedding, party, festive), the sub-occasion if it's a wedding (sangeet, mehndi, reception, etc.), an optional event date, your country (India, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or United Arab Emirates), your budget band, your size band(s), your modesty preference, your preferred sleeve lengths, and your preferred silhouettes. You can edit these any time from your profile.2.3 Swipe Activity and In-App Behavior
As you use the App, we record what you swipe right on, what you swipe left on, what you tap into, the boards and labels you create, the looks you save and unsave, and which vendor links you tap. We use this activity to (a) tune the feed to your taste, (b) understand which pieces and which categories of pieces are working, (c) inform Tavi's curation decisions, and (d) improve the App overall.2.4 Device and App Information
We collect basic device and app information used by every mobile app: device type, operating system version, app version, language, locale, and country setting. We collect crash and error events to fix bugs.2.5 Approximate Region from IP
Our service providers may infer an approximate region from the IP address of your device for security, analytics, localization, and service operations. Taiyaar also uses the country setting you choose during onboarding to tailor the catalog and vendor links.2.6 Information You Send Us
If you email us or send feedback from inside the App, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message: your email address, the body of your message, and any screenshots or attachments you add.2.7 Local Storage on Your Device
Your onboarding preferences, swipe history, boards, and saved looks are stored on your device in encrypted local storage (MMKV). A copy of your swipe activity and preferences is also sent to BBF-operated servers so we can analyze it and improve the App.2.8 Children
Taiyaar is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact privacy@builtbyfoundry.io and we will delete it.Sources of information: We receive information from you, automatically from your device and use of the App, and from any sign-in provider, marketplace, or other service you choose to connect, including the app store. The categories above describe what we collected during the preceding 12 months; we do not collect a category unless the App uses the related feature.3. How We Use Your Information
• Show you a personalized swipe feed based on the size, country, budget, and style preferences you chose during onboarding
• Save the looks you like into the boards and labels you create
• Send optional local notifications about your saved boards and upcoming events you flagged
• Detect bugs, improve performance, debug crashes, and improve the App
• Inform Tavi's curation decisions about which pieces, brands, and categories to add or remove
• Build aggregated insights about how Taiyaar is used and how to make it better
• Detect abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations
• Respond to support requests and feedback you send us4. Third-Party Service Providers
We disclose only the information reasonably needed to service providers and contractors that host, secure, analyze, support, or process purchases for the App. They process information under their agreements with us and their own legal obligations.Infrastructure and Storage: Supabase (Auth, Postgres database, Storage, Edge Functions) hosts account records, authentication metadata, the catalog, your swipe activity, your boards, and your saved looks. Data processed in the United States.Analytics: PostHog (cloud-hosted) for product analytics: screens viewed, swipes, saves, board interactions, and similar events, including device, session, and product usage metadata needed to analyze and improve the App.Crash Reporting: Sentry for crash and error diagnostics, including device, app, stack trace, and event metadata needed to investigate reliability issues.Distribution: Apple App Store and Apple TestFlight for distribution and beta testing.Advertising disclosure: If you allow personalized advertising, the App and its advertising provider may disclose device and activity identifiers for ad selection and measurement. Some privacy laws call that a sale or sharing. You can decline the App Tracking Transparency request, use any consent control shown in the App, or contact us to exercise an applicable opt-out right. Declining tracking does not prevent non-personalized ads.5. International Data Transfers
BBF is based in the United States. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.EEA/UK/Swiss users: Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You can ask about safeguards for a particular transfer by contacting privacy@builtbyfoundry.io.6. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including to provide the App, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting duties. Retention depends on the type of information, whether your account is active, and applicable law. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Copies may remain temporarily in backups or where law requires retention.Account information, onboarding preferences, swipe history, boards, and saved looks are kept as long as reasonably needed to operate account-backed features. Local records are removed from a device when you clear App data or uninstall the App, but server records remain until deletion is requested. Email privacy@builtbyfoundry.io with the account email, user ID, or installation identifier shown in Profile. We remove or de-identify eligible matching records after verification, subject to temporary backups and security, support, transaction, accounting, or other legal retention. Aggregated data that no longer reasonably identifies you may be kept. Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, portability, restriction, or objection and may appeal a response by replying to it.7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier processing.Legal bases for processing

You may also use an account-deletion control where the App provides that control. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and protections offered by our hosting and authentication providers. BUILTBYFOUNDRY Owns the Aggregated Data
Your swipe activity, the boards you create, and the preferences you set are valuable signal that lets us improve Taiyaar and make Tavi's curation sharper. By using the App, you agree that BBF owns the de-identified, aggregated dataset built from how Taiyaar is used, and that BBF may use that dataset for any lawful business purpose, including improving the App, informing Tavi's curation, building new features, training ranking and recommendation systems, and creating insights about South Asian fashion demand.12. Business Transfers
If BBF is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or change of control, information related to Taiyaar may be disclosed to and transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or any successor policy communicated as required by law.13. Taiyaar Is a Discovery Tool, Not a Retailer
Taiyaar curates and links to looks sold by third-party South Asian fashion retailers. BBF is not the seller of any item shown in the App. We do not handle payment, shipping, customs, duties, returns, or customer support for any item you order. Sizing, fabric details, color accuracy, lead times, and refund policies are determined by each retailer; please review the retailer's product page and policies before ordering.14. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy as the App or law changes. The Last Updated date shows when it was revised. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide notice in the App, by email when available, or by another reasonable method before the change takes effect where required.
