Can I change my Nugget's name or pronouns?Yes. Open your Nugget's page from the tab bar and tap the name or pronouns to edit them. Everything you have saved together stays.
Do I need a Tubby plush to use the app?No. Anyone can adopt a Nugget in the app. If you have a plush, you can scan its Certificate of Adoption during setup to bring that Nugget into the app.
The certificate scan did not read my card.Lay the card flat in even light and keep the whole card in frame. If the scan still fails, skip it and adopt in the app, then give your Nugget the name on your card. Scanning is only offered during setup for now.
Care, Outings, and the Scrapbook
Do I lose anything if I miss a day?No. Days together only count up, and memories in the Scrapbook are never removed. Come back whenever you like and pick up where you were.
Tubby has not come back from an outing.Outings run on the clock, even while the app is closed. Open MyTubby after the return time shown on Home or the widget. If the timer looks stuck, close the app fully and reopen it. You can also call Tubby home early from Home.
Where do keepsakes and journal notes go?Everything Tubby brings home, every care moment, and every journal note lives in the Scrapbook. The journal is private to you.
I stopped getting reminders.Open Settings in the app and check your care rhythm and notification choices. Then confirm MyTubby is allowed to send notifications in your phone's Settings. Choosing no schedule is always allowed.
Friends and Sending Nuggets
How do I add a friend?Open Together and choose Add friends. Share your eight-character friend code, or enter a friend's code. A friend appears only after both codes connect.
My friend did not get the Nugget I sent.Sent Nuggets arrive in your friend's inbox in Together the next time they open the app. If they did not get a notification, ask them to open MyTubby and check the Together tab.
Someone sent me something unkind.Open the note in your inbox and use Mute, Block, or Report. The sender is not told about a report. If you need a person, email support and include the friend code if you have it.
Backup, Account, and MyTubby Plus
How do I keep my Nugget if I change phones?Sign in with Apple or Google from your Nugget's page, then turn on Keep memories in the cloud under Settings > Preferences. Your certificate, room, and memories then follow your account to a new phone.
How do I delete my account?Open your Nugget's page, scroll to the bottom, and choose Delete account. This removes your account and synced data. If you cannot get into the app, email privacy@builtbyfoundry.io from the address tied to your account.
What does MyTubby Plus add, and how do I cancel?Everything in the app is free. Plus adds Scrapbook recaps and extra outfits. It is a yearly subscription billed through the App Store. Manage or cancel any time from your App Store subscriptions; access continues until the end of the paid period.
How do I restore a purchase?Open Settings, choose MyTubby Plus, and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID that made the purchase. If Plus is still missing, email support with the approximate purchase time. Do not send card details.
