2.1 Information You Provide
• Batch logs you create: food name, machine model, settings, run times, weights, outcomes, notes, and storage location. Stored locally on your device using MMKV.
• Pantry contents and saved recipes you bookmark.
• Profile details you enter during onboarding: name, household size, machine model, goals, and experience level.
• Account details if you choose to sign in: email, display name, and sign-in identifiers from Apple.
• Support requests and feedback you send us, including any information you include in the message.2.2 Automatically Collected Information
• Device and app information: device type, operating system, app version, language settings.
• Usage and analytics: screens viewed, features used, batches logged, session events.
• Crash and error diagnostics used to fix bugs.
• Approximate location inferred from IP address (not precise GPS).
• Subscription state returned by our billing provider (active, trial, expired) to unlock Pro features.2.3 iCloud Sync (Optional, iPhone Only)
If you sign into iCloud on your device, the App can sync your batch log, pantry, profile, and saved recipes to your private iCloud Key-Value Store so your data survives reinstall and follows you across your iPhone and iPad. Sync is local to your Apple ID — Foundry never reads it. You can disable sync any time in the App's Settings, or by signing out of iCloud at the system level.2.4 Permissions
Local notifications are optional and used only to remind you when a batch should be ready and to nudge a weekly preserve rhythm. No remote push. The App does not request camera, photo library, location, or contacts permissions in V1. You can revoke notifications at any time in your device settings.2.5 Brandon's Recipe Content
The recipe library inside the App is content authored by Brandon Whiteleather of Whitepepper Farms, including his settings, prep steps, and hero photos. It is shipped with the App and stored on your device. The App does not collect or upload photos of food you freeze dry — V1 has no user photo upload.Sources of information: We receive information from you, automatically from your device and use of the App, and from any sign-in provider, marketplace, or other service you choose to connect, including the app store. The categories above describe what we collected during the preceding 12 months; we do not collect a category unless the App uses the related feature.3. How We Use Your Information

After a verified account-deletion request, we remove or de-identify eligible Foundry-controlled records, subject to temporary backups and security, transaction, accounting, or other legal retention.
