Do I need an account to play?No. Claire’s Sudoku works right away with no account, no sign-in, and no internet connection required. Just open it and play.
How do I pick a difficulty?On the home screen, use the arrows or dots to move between Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, and Master, then tap Play.
Can I play offline?Yes. Every puzzle is generated on your device, so the App works fully offline, on a plane, on the subway, anywhere.
Daily Puzzle & Streaks
How does the daily puzzle work?Each day brings one numbered edition per difficulty. Solve it to keep your streak going. A new edition arrives at midnight.
Can I play more than once a day?Absolutely. After you solve the daily edition, tap Keep Playing to roll straight into a fresh practice puzzle at the same difficulty. Extra games never affect your daily streak.
How do I share my result?When you finish a puzzle, tap Share on the completion screen to send your time and result through your device’s share sheet.
Playing
How do I make notes in a cell?Tap the Notes (pencil) button in the toolbar, then tap numbers to add or remove pencil marks in the selected cell.
What do the timer and mistake counter do?Both are optional. Turn them on or off in Settings depending on whether you want a relaxed solve or a timed challenge.
Is there a night mode?Yes. Settings includes a warm, blue-light-free night theme designed for playing comfortably before bed.
